Spring Has Sprung

Great weekend!!!

It is warm enough for daffodils and drives through the pinion juniper,
hiking around looking for deer sheds, and having silly family fun.

We took turns with the camera.  Trust me their were some
weird pictures that did not make it on this blog.

Today, we got to go visit Grandma Pete.  Seth's grandma.  She had
been in the hospital for a while and got to go back home yesterday.
She likes "company" so it was fun to sit and visit with her.

The Boys had fun playing with her wooden train.  And Seth helped her find her missing cat.

1,2,3,4 Days of Adventure in Disneyland and California Adventure

March 5-10th our whole OHMS family went to California.  What a great family reunion.

We arrived on Monday and went straight to Seal beach.  My sister-in-law, Sarah, posted some pictures on her blog of this adventure. Sarah's Dizzyland.  The beach is my favorite part of California, but we didn't get to spend very much time there before it got dark.
The kids gathered some cool shells and ran in the waves.

Tuesday morning it was off to Disneyland.  Here we all are in our matching ORANGE shirts.  It sure made it easy to spot each other.  We took it easy on the fun little kid rides at first and they all loved it.
Four years ago when we went they were so little they cried on every ride.  MUCH BETTER!

Middle row:  Michael, Jessica, Grandma, RaeAnne, Miya, Matthew, Ellyn,
Bottom row:  Jenny, Sarah, Emma, Leiya, Kayla, Coulson, Quinn, Adilaide.

Our 4 little Mouseketeers.

This picture was taken on the Splash Mountain ride.  It was our first big"scary" ride and Quinn and Adi were really worried, but we convinced them they should try it just one time and they might think it was fun.  There we are floating along, listening to Brer rabbit sing his cute little songs when WHAM!  We were stopped by a gate.  Apparently somewhere on the ride there was a log jam and so we all got out of our logs and walked through the ride, and out the back.  We recieved a free fast pass for any ride, anytime we wanted.  Mostly we all thought it was cool to see the ride up close and personal.

Of course we went back later, again and again and again.
It's our favorite.

 TEA CUPS

Ellyn driving  her slow moving grandma car on Autopia.

 Quinn driving the Gray Bomb.

What a sweet, cute, pink little kitty on the tea cups.
This is when she started to feel sick.  Her and Coulson both spent some time not feeling
so great.  Fevers, Coughs, you know things that aren't happy...Come on Disneyland...Happiest Place on Earth??  Actually, they still had fun despite being under the weather.  We all did.
Even though my happiest place on earth is still on top of a mountain somewhere.

We celebrated our cousin RaeAnne's 10th birthday on Friday morning.

Snow white was so cute with Adi.  She gave her a kiss on the forehead and just yesterday Adi asked if the kiss was still on her forehead.  That made Adilaide's day.

We owe it all to Grandpapa.  He loves Disneyland, and Loves to watch
his kids and grandkids having lots of good times there.

Thanks for all the fun.  Until next time, goodbye disneyland!!!
